ARGOS – Jane Louise Bailey, 85, of Fir Road, Tippecanoe, died at 11:35 a.m. Jan. 15, 2013, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Alanson, Mich., to Mamie Dicus. On Aug. 28, 1948, in Argos, she married Glendon E. Bailey, who died Aug. 21, 2004. Living most of her life in the Tippecanoe community, she was a farmer’s wife and homemaker. She was a member of Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, and was formerly involved with Walnut Township Home Extensions Club and The Marshall County Farm Bureau, Marshall County. She contributed many projects to the open exhibits at the county 4-H Fair. She attended Walnut Township and Argos Community Schools Surviving are a daughter, Rosemand Lindenman, New Paris; three sons, Dennis (and spouse Cindy) Bailey, Tippecanoe, and Lyndon (and spouse Mindy) Bailey and Tim (and spouse Peggy) Bailey, all of Argos; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, with the Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. *****
