ESCONDIDO, Calif. – Jan Olds Miller, 78, died unexpectedly June 23, 2013, in her residence, after a short illness. She was born April 30, 1935, in Warsaw, to Fred and Rena Olds. She married Dick Miller. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1953 and attended Ball State University and Purdue University. She moved to California in 1955. She was homemaker and worked for some time in the family business. Surviving are three children: Cindy Arntson, Kevin Miller and Karin Gerstin; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 3, at Community United Methodist Church, Julian, Calif. ***** Memorials may be made to The California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
