James Wadkins Sr., 61, Warsaw, died August 16, 2007, in Goshen General Hospital.
He was born July 30, 1946, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Monroe and Marie Slone Wadkins.
He worked as a lead man at Dalton Foundries, Warsaw, for 35 years. He was a member of Claypool Pentecostal Church and United Steel Workers Union.
Surviving are his mother, Marie Prater, Prestonsburg; two sons, James Wadkins Jr., Warsaw, and Tommy Wadkins, North Webster; a daughter, Alice Marie Cordell, Winona Lake; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Verldon (Loretta) Thornsbury, Prestonsburg; a stepbrother, Leroy Prater, Michigan; two stepsisters, Mrs. Taulbee (Linda Sue) Goodman, Prestonsburg, and Mrs. George (Shirley) Robinett, Kentucky; and a stepbrother, Jackie D. Prater, Ivyton, Ky. He was preceded in death by his father a stepfather and a stepsister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Ralph Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
