James W. Drudge, 83, of Tekonsha, Mich. died May 18, 2011, at the Laurels of Coldwater. He was born April 3, 1928, in Wabash County, to Walter and Beatrice Bowen Drudge. On Dec. 21, 1947 in Kinderhook, Mich., he married Ardella M. Burdick, who survives. He graduated from Claypool High School in 1946 . He owned Tuff-Cat Trailer Manufacturing in Tekonsha, Mich. for 30 years. He was a member of the Branch County Saddle Club, a past president. Also surviving are a daughter; Penny (and spouse Tony) Morgan, Warwick, Md., a son; Owen (and spouse Helen Klemchuk) Drudge, Fairfax, Vt.; three sisters; Lois Smith, Warsaw; Mary Anna Sprong, Columbia City, and Janie (and spouse Jr.) Stutzman, Ft. Myers Beach, Fla.; and a brother, Harold (and spouse Carol Sue) Drudge, Sebring, Fla.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. June 20 at the Union Church United Church of Christ in Tekonsha, with Rev. Barbara Pryor officiating.
