James Mark 'Jim' Demske

PIERCETON - James Mark "Jim" Demske, 64, of 8479 Old 30E, Pierceton, died at 5:45 a.m. Aug. 2, 2009, in his residence.

He was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Kendallville, to Mark and Julia Froehly Demske. On Aug. 26, 1967, in Pierceton, he married Jane Waugh, who survives.

He was a Pierceton resident for 42 years. He was a laboratory technician for Spartech Plastics for 42 years. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton. He was a leader of Kosciusko County 4-H Club for 25 years and was an avid farm toy collector.

Also surviving are a son, Mark (and spouse Lisa) Demske, Claypool; three daughters: Kimberley (and spouse Marcus) McBroom, Leesburg; Michele (and spouse Jason) Eavey, Lafayette; and Kari (and spouse Greg) Gentry, Columbia City; and seven grandkids, Anthony, Justin, Cody, Ashley, Jessie, Colt and Jacob.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton. Burial will be private.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel. Pierceton.
