James ‘Jared’ HamptonSYRACUSE – James “Jared” Hampton, 52, of Syracuse, after struggling several years with addiction, lost his battle on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at home.
He was born on April 25, 1969, in Detroit, Mich., to James and Betty McBride Hampton. He was a entrepreneur, having utilized is carpentry skills in his endeavor “Kannibis Kreations.”
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Stimmel; three sons: Darren Miller, Jack Parker; and Daxton Stimmel; one stepdaughter, Lillian Meyer; mother, Betty Hampton; two brothers: David Hampton and Jeff Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. A celebration of Jared's life will follow at 5 p.m.
