FORT WAYNE – James J. Jonasch, 70, Fort Wayne, passed away Dec. 7, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital. He was born March 30, 1943, in Long Island, N.Y., to Edward A. and Nilah Harvey Jonasch. He was a Navy veteran and member of the VFW. He worked as the bar manager at Club Soda. Surviving are his three children: Jennifer (and spouse Andrew) McKeever, Fort Wayne; Kimberly (and spouse David) Priest, Hoagland; and Jonathan Jonasch, Carmel; a sister, Nilah (and spouse Daniel) Brown, Milford; five grandchildren: Jordan, Chloe and Abby Priest, Justin Jonasch and Shelbie Reuille; a great-grandchild, Osirus Reuille; and two stepsons, Mark Caldwell and Terry Burris, both of Fort Wayne. Preceding him in death was his parents and his longtime companion, Judi Stout. A celebration gathering will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Club Soda, 235 E. Superior St., Fort Wayne.
