GOSHEN – James Edward Foster, 56, died June 26, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after suffering a massive stroke.
He was born Sept. 16, 1954, in Elkhart, to Hallet K. and Irene Mae Tennis Foster, who preceded him in death.
A 1973 Goshen High School graduate, he attended Vincennes University. He worked as a salesman at Lakeside Chevrolet and Leesburg Liquors.
Surviving are two daughters, Laurieanne Foster and Allison Foster, both of Warsaw; four grandchildren: Korbin Foster, William Wells Jr., Andre Wells, and Kyla Duff; two sisters, Marge Foster and Sharon Hinesley, both of North Webster; a brother, Aaron Hinesley, Mt. Dora, Fla.; a niece; a nephew; and two great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Beluschak, who died in August 2008.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Pastor Alan Griffin, First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, officiating. Cremation by Yoder-Culp Crematory will follow the services.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
