WARREN - James D. Koby, 65, formerly of Marion, died at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 11, 2009, in Mentone.
He was born July 9, 1944, in Huntington, to James Henry and Ruby Knight Koby. On June 1, 1963, in Warren, he married Faye Shepherd, who survives.
He worked at RCA, Marion, for many years before retiring. He formerly resided in Warren before moving to Palestine Lake, Mentone. He was a 1961 Warren High School graduate.
Also surviving are two sons, Hank Lewis (and spouse Kathie) Koby, Bluffton, and Jimmie D. Koby, Warren; a sister, Betty G. (and spouse Harold) Runkle, Wolcottville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Calling and burial will be private. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Warren.
