NORTH WEBSTER – James Christopher “Chris” Cox, 54, Pierceton, passed away Oct. 21, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 26, 1959, in Muncie, to Glen and Judy Sayre Cox. On Nov. 9, 1990, in Warsaw, he married Susan J. “Jill” Kern, who survives. He graduated in 1977 from Wes-Del High School in Gaston, and served in the U.S. Marines from 1977-1981. He moved to Kosciusko County in 1987 from Gaston. He was formerly employed at Medtronic in Warsaw for eight years. Also surviving are two daughters, Katie (and spouse Michael) Barnes, Marion, and Courtney Cox, Pierceton; three grandchildren; his parents; a sister, Julie Cox, Gaston; and a brother, Greg (and spouse Kate) Cox, Virginia. Services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Living Hope Christian Church, 14300 N. C.R. 900W, Gaston. Calling will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
