Jalaine Brumfield, 58, Warsaw, passed away at 12:03 a.m. Dec. 6, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born May 12, 1956, in Warsaw, to Richard and Geneal Sponseller Heagy. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was a member of Alpha Beta Si Sorority. She worked for the Kosciusko County clerk’s office. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, playing cards and cooking. She loved to watch cooking shows and reading cookbooks. She was an avid fan of “regular” Pepsi. She is survived by her daughter, Jorie (and spouse Nick) Coon, Warsaw; a son, Jared Brumfield, Warsaw; a sister, Nanette (and spouse Lester) Piece, Warsaw; a brother, Hal (and spouse Geri) Heagy, Warsaw; her mother, Geneal (and spouse Larry) Mellott, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Brody Haines, Claire and Dakotah Coon and Jacob Brumfield. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father. Services will be at noon Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating.
