SYRACUSE – Jacqueline “Jacque” Marie Kuilema, 97, passed away Feb. 18, 2015, at Rainbow Healthcare Center, Bartlett, Tenn. She was born June 22, 1917, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Lawrence and Gertrude LaParl. She was married to Louis M. Kuilema, who preceded her in death. She and her husband were the owners of Fish and Fun Resort on Syracuse Lake. She was a member of Lakeland Art Association and Goshen Christian Science Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and the lake. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (and spouse Leonard) Necaise, Fernandina Beach, Fla.; three sons: Peter (and spouse Yaderia) Kuilema, Temecula, Calif.; Daniel (and spouse Sherry) Kuilema, Arlington, Tenn.; and Doug Kuilema, North Webster; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the oldest of seven children, all preceding her in death. A private service was held at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville, Tenn. ***** Memorials to donor’s choice.
