Jacalyn Rae “Jackie” Shilling Tucker, 57, Warsaw, died unexpectedly Oct. 15, 2014. at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1957, in Warsaw, to Stanley “Pete” and Ina I. Rule Shilling. On Jan. 30, 2001, in Warsaw, she married William H. “Bill” Tucker, who survives.
A Warsaw resident all of her life, she was a 1975 Warsaw Community High School graduate. She retired in 2009 from Rohm and Haas, and was currently a supervisor at Penguin Point on East Center Street, Warsaw. She loved Penguin Point (which was her first job as a teenager), and all of her co-workers. She had many friends and was loved by all who knew her.
She is also survived by two stepchildren, Randy Tucker and Cathy (and spouse Ryan) Reed; four step-grandchildren: Racquel, Ryan and Tabitha Tucker and Tucker Reed, all of Warsaw; three sisters: Rita A. (and spouse John) Craig; DeAnna K. (and spouse Mike) Ragan and Patricia A. (and the late Ron) Yarian, all of Warsaw; three brothers: Douglas E. (and spouse Carol) Shilling, Silver Lake; Rodney L. (and spouse Julie) and Spencer T. (and spouse Christine) Shilling, all of Warsaw; two aunts, Ella Mae (and spouse Bert) Ransbottom, Claypool, and Vera M. (and the late John) Homan, Winona Lake; and Uncle Phil Shilling, Kingman, Ariz.; 39 nieces and nephews, with whom she was actively involved and especially close: Teresa, Anna and Macy Craig; Tammy, Christopher, Trenton and Ryan Seibold; Nathan, Sandi and Beth Yarian; Michele, Steve, Stephen, Isaiah, Jacob Jaquez; Shawn, Melissa, Josh, Jessica, Nevaeh, Draven,  Liska, Matt, Abby, Teddy, Tony, Sasha, Joel, Andrea, Knox, Elizabeth, Kaytie, Sarah, Randy, Whitney, Kinley, Kylan, Nick and Jessica Shilling. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Deborah J. Shilling; and a nephew, Troy L. Ragan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Earl Futch officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
