FORT WAYNE – Jackie J. Daring, 81, passed away peacefully April 16, 2015. She was born May 29, 1933, in Fort Wayne, to John and Ester Marie Arnett Brinkman. She was married to Robert L. Daring, her husband of 63 years, who survives in Melbourne, Fla. She worked as a homemaker, raising her family along with being a foster parent and hosting many exchange students. Also surviving are four children: Loutricia Ann Remke, Henderson, Ky.; Robert Fred (and spouse Gerri) Daring, Lehigh, Fla.; Jonnie Thomas Daring, Pierceton; and Richard James Daring, Leo; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Rhea, Fort Wayne. Also preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Donald Lee Daring; a twin brother, Jack Brinkman; a sister, Laura Jean Bogger; and a great-grandson, Justin. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
