Jack Patrick, 86, of 8140 S. Packerton Road, Claypool, died at 11:22 p.m. Jan. 18, 2009, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Floyd County, Ky., to Dan and Fanny Patton Patrick. On Dec. 23, 1950, he married Arminia Williams, who survives.
He lived in Kosciusko County for 59 years and worked at Packerton Saw Mill.
Also surviving are seven sons: Dannie (and spouse Rowenda) Patrick, Leesburg; Ronnie (and spouse Janet) Patrick, Claypool; Larry Joe (and spouse Rhonda) Patrick and Jimmy Ray (and spouse Edwina) Patrick, all of Warsaw; Billy (and spouse Susan) Patrick, Akron; Steven (and spouse Lorrie) Patrick, South Whitley; and Morris (and spouse Deadra) Patrick, Sidney; a daughter, Virginia Kay (and spouse Jessie) Rivera, Warsaw; 28 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a brother, Elcaney Patrick, Tennessee; and a sister, Dellie Marie Hicks, Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
