Jack Coleman Lowry, 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Aug. 27, 2011, in his residence.
On March 2, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, he was born to John and Elizabeth Coleman Lowry. On May 15, 1965, in Angola, he married Sharon L. Urbine, who survives.
He was a graduate of Tri-State (Trine) University, Angola, and worked at Wheel Horse Products, South Bend, and Big Boy Products, R.R. Donnelley & Sons and Lakeside Chevrolet, all in Warsaw. He enjoyed plowing snow for many years. He was a former Boy Scout leader and Civil Defense director. He was currently active in the Hoosier Lakes Radio Club as “KC9PBQ” and a member of the National Association for Amateur Radio. He was known for his many activities at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds Race Track. He was also a member of the Lutheran Church.
Also surviving are a son, Russell Coleman (and spouse Kari) Lowry, Warsaw; a daughter, Samantha Lowry, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Alexis Anne, Warsaw; two grandsons, Phillip Coleman and Jonathan Kaine, both of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Janet; and granddaughter, Shelby.
