SOUTH BEND - Ivy Tech Community College-North Central's Paramedic Science Program recently was awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
The accreditation recognizes the program's compliance with nationally established accreditation standards and was granted for a three-year period.CAAHEP is the largest programmatic accreditor in the health sciences field. In collaboration with its Committees on Accreditation, CAAHEP reviews and accredits more than 2,000 educational programs in 20 health science occupations.
Ivy Tech Community College is the nation's largest statewide community college system and the state's second largest public post-secondary institution serving nearly 120,000 students a year.
