Traveling at 17,200 miles per hour and at an altitude of 254 miles, the International space station passed over Warsaw at about 8:57 p.m. Saturday. Labeled are the two constellations and noted is the position of the Andromeda galaxy. This is the nearest galaxy to the Milky Way galaxy and also the only "naked eye" object of an extragalactic body. It contains nearly half a trillion stars. The light from the Andromeda galaxy took 2.4 million years to reach our night sky. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second meaning around 6 trillion miles per year now multiply that by 2.4 million years.
