She was born Oct. 25, 1909, in Kosciusko County, to Harry Edward and Ida Jane Mauzy Weaver. She married John D. Shidler, who died Nov. 26, 1979. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church; Signet Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star; The Widows of Shriners Club, Fort Wayne; St. Marks Afternoon Circle; XYZ; The Quilters; and United Methodist Women. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Edward Shidler; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters. A memorial service will be at a later date at Bell Trace. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
