Isabel Jean Pence
MARION – Isabel Jean Pence, 78, formerly of Marion, died at 2:09 a.m. April 7, 2011, in Warsaw.
She was born in Gas City, to Rex and Betty Price Alexander. On May 5, 1951, she married Pete Pence, who died March 4, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Marion First United Methodist Church, its Esther Circle, the BT Chapter of the PEO, and spent many years with the Marion Easter Pageant.
Surviving are a son, Roger (and spouse Colleen) Pence, San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Mindy (and spouse Bruce) Lankenau, Claypool; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Home, Marion, with the Rev. Kaye Patton officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
