Irwin's 36 Leads Whitko To Win In Local Roundup

    SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko senior Logan Irwin keeps climbing Indiana’s all-time scoring list and also keeps helping his team get wins.
    In his latest endeavour, Irwin dropped 36 points Friday night at home against Fort Wayne Wayne, leading the Whitko Wildcats to a 65-63 victory,.
    The Wildcats improved to 10-8 with the win.
    The 36 points give him 2,075 for his career, ranking him 29th all-time, just three points behind 1958 Plainville graduate Lloyd Bateman and five points better than 1969 Indianapolis Washington graduate George McGinnis.
    Along with Irwin’s production, Whitko also got 15 points from junior Alex Stoddard and eight out of senior Jordan Sims.
    The Wildcats are right back in action tonight, hosting Churubusco.
