ROCHESTER – Irma Opal Riddle, 106, of Rochester, died at 12:45 p.m. May 27, 2011, in her residence. She was born Dec. 13, 1904, in Mackinaw, Ill., to Henry William and Mary Schwartz Schertz. On June 1, 1926, in Chicago, she married Charles Riddle, who died Oct. 21, 1985. Surviving are two daughters, Dorcas (and spouse Fred) VanDuyne, and Norita (and husband John) Kuhn, all of Rochester; a son, Charles (and wife Lola) Riddle, Argos; 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
