Irene Wahl, 88, of 311 Sixth St., Winona Lake, died at 2:30 a.m. April 23, 2007, in her residence.
She was born June 7, 1918, in Elizabeth, N.J., to John and Karolina Malko Zielinski. On Oct. 13, 1983, in New York, N.Y., she married William Wahl Jr., who died Feb. 12, 1998.
She moved to the Warsaw area from New York 11 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Buhlmann, Winona Lake; a brother, Henry Zielinski, New Jersey; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
A memorial service will at 4 p.m. Sunday at Westminster Hall, Winona Lake. No burial is planned.
