MENTONE – Irene M. Creighbaum, 77, Tippecanoe, died at 2:30 p.m. May 26, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Pulaski County, to Francis and Sara Highland Ludwig. On June 20, 1959, in Mentone, she married Forrest G. Creighbaum Sr., who preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1995.
She was a homemaker and formerly attended Grace Outreach Fellowship, Tippecanoe, and also was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Warsaw, and the VFW, Plymouth. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Yahtzee and gardening.
Surviving are two daughters, Anna Haroulakis, Warsaw, and Katherine (and spouse Duane) Flory, Tippecanoe; three sons: Michael (and spouse Kimberly) Creighbaum, Edwardsburg, Mich.; Forrest Jr. and Marvin Creighbaum, Tippecanoe; companion, Bob Sherrill, Tippecanoe; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles "Bud" Kring, Elkhart; and Dave Ludwig (and companion Sharon), Bremen; three sisters: Frances Ann (and spouse Floyd) Dorsey, Argos; Martha (and spouse Richard) Muffley, Plymouth; and Mary Helen DeVos, Argos. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepmother, Violet E. Ludwig; a great-grandchild; three brothers: Bobby Alan Ludwig, Michael Dale Kring and Kenneth Ludwig; and a sister, Donna Mae Kring.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Grace Outreach Fellowship, Tippecanoe, with the Revs. Rob Mace and Larrie Kreft officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Grace Outreach Fellowship.
King Memorial Home, Mentone, is in charge of arrangements.
