BOURBON – Irene I. Baker, 90, of Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20, 2013. She was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Nebraska, to David and Clara Sears Powers. On June 10, 1939, she married Harold Baker, who died June 1, 1994. She was a lifetime resident of the Etna Green area and a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Barbara (and spouse Ronald) Ashby, Etna Green, and Dennis Baker and Ronald (and spouse Diana) Baker, all of Warsaw; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, David (and spouse Anna) Powers, Etna Green. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. In honoring her wishes, graveside services were today at Etna Green Cemetery.
