SYRACUSE — Jade Rose Tomblin, 1 day, West Lafayette, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Franciscan Health Hospital, Lafayette.
She was born June 10, 2018, in Lafayette, to former Syracuse area residents Christopher M. and Krista Lynn Johnson Tomblin, who survive in West Lafayette.
Also surviving are her sister, Iris Fae Tomblin, West Lafayette; brother, Alexander Michael Tomblin, West Lafayette; maternal grandmother, Francine Johnson, Syracuse; paternal grandparents, Lindsey and Cynthia Tomblin, Syracuse; maternal great-grandmother, Sharon Kelley, Warsaw; paternal great-grandmother, Rosalie Whitt, South Bend; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Johnson.
Private family services will be held at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with Pastor Mike Kelley of Word of Truth Ministries in Milford officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Milford.
