SYRACUSE – John Simeon Kimmel, 7 days old, of Syracuse, passed away at 7:05 a.m. May 13, 2013, at his grandparent’s resident in Syracuse. He was born May 6, 2013, in South Bend, to Luke D. and Karissa B. Evans Kimmel, of North Africa, temporarily residing in Syracuse. He attended North Webster Church of God, where he was dedicated May 12. Also surviving are a brother, Reese Daniel Kimmel, North Africa; grandparents, Jim and Kim Evans, Syracuse, and Joe and Nancy Kimmel, Paoli; great-grandparents: John and Oweita Augsburger, Syracuse; Joanne Evans, Bethany, Okla.; and Edward and Nancy Kimmel, Louisville, Ky.; uncles: Jonathon (and spouse Sarah) Evans, Chicago, Ill.; Drew (and spouse Jessica) Evans, Dallas, Texas; Garth (and spouse Lindsay) Kimmel, New Salisbury; and Chase Kimmel, Indianapolis; and cousins, Owen, Elyza and Reed Kimmel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of God, 301 N. Main St., North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Milford Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S.
