Lucian Nikolaus James Barrus, 26 days, passed away at 6:38 p.m. April 7, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born March 12, 2015, in Warsaw, to Thomas Barrus Jr. and Beth Gilbert Barrus. Surviving are his mother, Beth (and Chad Puckett) Barrus, Warsaw; his father, Thomas (and Madelaine Kincaid) Barrus Jr., Cromwell; a brother, Constantine Barrus, at home; a sister, Mackenzie Barrus, at home; grandparents: Penny Pruitt and Julia (and spouse Wayne) Radford, all of Syracuse; Thomas (and spouse Angie) Barrus II, Niles, Mich.; Kevin (and spouse Jodi) Gilbert, Warsaw; great-grandparents: Honey (and spouse Loren) Pruitt and Carolyn Barrus, all of Warsaw; Thomas Barrus, Kentucky; Richard (and spouse Lynette) Gilbert, Lewiston, N.Y.; and the Rev. Gary Paxton, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Sonja Paxton, who died Sept. 22, 2011. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with the Rev. Gary Paxton, his great-grandfather, officiating.
