Indiana Bankers Association Announces Chair, Board For 2026

INDIANAPOLIS – David M. Findlay, chairman and CEO of Lake City Bank, Warsaw, and its holding company, Lakeland Financial Corporation, has taken his seat as 2026 chairman of the Indiana Bankers Association Board of Directors.
Findlay is active as a board member with organizations including the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, OrthoWorx, Orthopedic Capital Foundation, AcceLINX, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, Trine University and Parkview Health. He is also on the advisory board for Centerfield Capital Partners, according to a news release from the Indiana Bankers Association.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and is a member of the IBA’s 2019 class of Leaders in Banking Excellence, the Association’s highest honor.
This year’s board is comprised of:
• IBA officers Findlay, chairman; Lisa Arnold, first vice chairman, Home Bank, Martinsville; Bradley J. Monts, second vice chairman, Hoosier Heartland State Bank, Crawfordsville; Matthew W. Howrey, immediate past chairman, North Salem State Bank; Amber R. Van Til, president and CEO, Indiana Bankers Association.
• Constituent Directors Garry D. Kleer, ABA Membership Council, First Bank Richmond; Kent A. Liechty, ICBA state director, First Bank of Berne; Karen B. Woods, non-Indiana headquartered bank director, First Financial Bank, Cincinnati; Gregory Barnes Jr., future leadership fivision president, STAR Bank, Fort Wayne.

Findlay and the board were elected Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, during the IBA Annual Convention in French Lick, but assumed their positions effective Jan. 1, 2026.
The Indiana Bankers Association supports Indiana banking through issues advocacy, professional education, and products and services that enhance financial institutions’ ability to help build better communities, the release states.
