Indiana American Water will begin flushing its water distribution system Monday that will continue through Oct. 13. Times for hydrant flushing are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Monday, hydrant flushing will be on CR 350N to Anchorage Road and Shelden Street and North Detroit Street including Northwest Woods at the Crossing. On Oct. 1, Anchorage Road to the Meijer store will be flushed as well as Bell Drive and CR 200N to Husky Trail including Canterbury Apartments. On Oct. 2, Husky Trail from Harrison Ridge to Patterson Road, including Mariner Drive, will be flushed as well as the entire hospital area. On Oct. 3, North Detroit Street from Anchorage Road to Canal Street will be flushed, including Arthur Street, East Sheridan Street, East Clark Street to North Cleveland Street. Flushing also includes Hodges Addition. On Oct. 4, from Parker Street and Argonne Road from Dubois Drive to Durbin Street will be flushed, and Argonne Road to South Maple Avenue. On Oct. 6, Silveus Crossing from U.S. 30 to Madison Elementary School will be flushed including McElroy Hill Business Park. East Center Street extended to Paths of Deerfield will be flushed. On Oct. 7, North Buffalo Street from Canal Street to Eagle Creek will be flushed. High Street to West Street will be flushed along with the entire downtown area. On Oct. 8, East Fort Wayne Street to East Center Street and North Detroit Street to North Bronson Street will be flushed. On Oct. 9, Hand Avenue to Winona Lake wil be flushed and Market Street to Smith Street will be flushed. On Oct. 10, all of Boggs and Phillips Addition will be flushed. On Oct. 11, all of Winona Lake will be flushed. On Oct. 12, Eagle Creek to CR 200S and South Union Street to Ranch Road will be flushed. On Oct. 13, Argonne Road east to CR 250E and U.S. 30E to Old 30E wil be flushed. Customers may experience periods of discoloration and pressure fluctuation during the flushing period.
