Indiana Alcohol And Tobacco Commission Provides DST Service Hours Update

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS – As the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST) approaches, the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission reminds permit holders of the upcoming clock adjustment and its impact on the legal service hours for alcoholic beverages.
This fall, DST ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at which time clocks will move back an hour to 1 a.m. prevailing time. In observance of this time adjustment, permit holders will effectively receive an extra hour in which to sell alcoholic beverages.
As always, all alcoholic beverage sales must cease or end by 3 a.m. local prevailing time in accordance with Indiana Code 7.1-3-1-14.
