Ind. 19 To Close For Culvert Replacements

Posted

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the closure of Ind. 19 for culvert replacements.
Starting on or after Thursday, Aug. 27, crews will replace three pipes on Ind. 19 between U.S. 30 and U.S. 6. Work on the pipe replacements is expected to be complete by Wednesday, Sept. 2. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change, according to a news release from the INDOT.
During the closure, drivers should use the official detour of U.S. 30, Ind. 331 and U.S. 6, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
