Indiana Department of Transportation announced that Ind. 19 is scheduled to be closed beginning Monday, weather permitting. The closure is to accommodate replacement and widening of the bridge deck over the Tippecanoe River, between CR 75N and Ind. 10, approximately 2 miles south of Etna Green. The official detour is from Ind. 25 to Ind. 331 to Ind. 10. Work is scheduled to be complete by the beginning of November. The contract for the project was awarded to Anlaan, based on the low bid of $1 million. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
