The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Ind. 19 asphalt resurfacing between Akron and Mentone has begun.
The limits of the project are from Ind. 14 to Ind. 25. Thru traffic will be permitted under the direction of flaggers, with single lane traffic in alternating directions. Motorists should be aware of merging construction traffic and shoulder work.
E & B Paving was awarded the contract based on the low bid of $2.3 million. The project is scheduled for completion by mid-October 2012.
