Emergency personnel work to remove one of the drivers involved in Thursday afternoon's three-vehicle accident at U.S. 30 and Ind. 13, Pierceton. Two people were treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries following the crash at around 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Pierceton Town Marshal Tim Sammons said a van driven east on U.S. by Terry Jordan, 64, of 207 Shaffer Road, Warsaw,  disregarded the traffic signal at the intersection, striking a car driven northbound on Ind. 13 by Ursula Patel, 47, of 7103 E. U.S. 30, Pierceton. Patel’s car then spun and struck a pickup driven by Mathew Kinion, 23, of 207 E. Church St., Pierceton. Patel complaned of head pain following the crash.  A passenger in Patel’s car, Shana Patel, 19, also of 7103  E. U.S. 30, complained of back pain. The Patels were treated at KCH and released. Jordan and Kinion were not injured.
