Well, another Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Fruit & Nut Sale is in the books. Auxiliary members and volunteers worked side by side to take orders, input the orders in te computer, unload the truck, organize, pack and distribute all of the orders. Thank you to everyone who played a part in our sale this year.
Thank you Creighton’s for picking up the 4 tons of nuts and bringing them to Warsaw, even with higher gas prices this year. Thank you, Kroger and Martin’s, for lending us grocery carts to use to aid in packing the orders. This makes the job much easier. Also, thank you, Times-Union for helping get the word out to the public. Also, David Slone for the great article! Special thanks to Kim Hart and Ann Pinnick for their leadership and ability to keep all of us in line. That’s a very big job!
Thank you to everyone who purchased gourmet nuts and candy this year. You are helping us help those in need in Kosciusko County.
