An Illinois man is in critical condition after a Thursday afternoon accident in Warsaw.
Dale Davis, 62, of Burr Oak, complained of leg pain after the 1:42 p.m. accident at the intersection of East Jefferson and South McKinley streets. He was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital. KCH officials declined to release details regarding Davis' injuries.
According to a Warsaw Police Department report, Davis was southbound on McKinley Street when he failed to stop for the stop sign at Jefferson Street and his car collided with a westbound car driven by Robert D. Yocum, 24, East Wooster Road, Pierceton.
Yocum complained of neck pain and was treated at KCH and released.
Damage is estimated at $2,500 to $5,000 to each car and $750 to $1,000 to a yard on East Jefferson Street.
