More than $45,000 was raised at the third annual Kosciusko Cancer Care Fund Idol Night: Sing For Support Friday evening.
The fundraiser brought in $21,000 more than last year's event, and the Wagon Wheel Theatre was sold out.
Steve Yeager, who sang "So Small," dedicated his performance to his wife, Tracey, who has been battling breast cancer for the past five years.
Yeager raised more than $16,000 for the event, and then donated his $1,000 prize to Kandice Robinson, who also participated in the event. Robinson, who is 28, was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer a year ago. Robinson sang "More Real" while her mother, Tammie Robinson, interpreted the song in sign language.
