NOTICE OF 30-DA Y PERIOD FOR PUBLIC COMMENT Preliminary Findings Regarding a Significant Permit Modification for Dalton Corporation, Warsaw Manufacturing Facility in Kosciusko County PSD/Significant Source and Permit Modification No: 085-25816-00003 and 085-25836-00003 The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), has received a PSD application from Dalton Corporation, Warsaw Manufacturing Facility located at 1900 E. Jefferson Street, Warsaw, Indiana for a Permit Modification to their Part 70 Operating Permit T085-6708-00003, issued on May 9, 2007. If approved by IDEM, OAO, this proposed modification would allow Dalton Corporation, Warsaw Manufacturing Facility to continue to operate their existing source. Dalton Corporation, Warsaw Manufacturing Facility has evaluated their CO emissions from its Pouring, Cooling and Shakeout operations and determined that the CO emissions from Pouring, Cooling and Shakeout operations are 271.7 tons per year based on its operations, which exceeds the significant level for CO. Therefore, IDEM has reviewed CO emissions as a PSD review from Pouring, Cooling and Shakeout operations. This draft Title V permit does not contain any new equipment that would emit air pollutants; however, some conditions from previously issued permits/approvals have been corrected, changed or removed. This notice fulfills the public notice procedures to which those conditions are subject IDEM has reviewed this application, and has developed preliminary findings, consisting of a draft permit and several supporting documents, that would allow the applicant to this change. A copy of the permit application and IDEM's preliminary findings are available at: Warsaw Community Public Library 315 East Main Street Warsaw, Indiana 46580 and Northern Region Office 220 West Colfax Ave. Suite 200 South Bend, 46601 A copy of the preliminary findings is available on the Internet at: www.IN.gov/idem/permits/air/pending.html.
