Warsaw residents were treated to an unexpected fireworks display Monday night.
The Indiana Association of Building Officials, which is meeting at the Ramada Plaza until Wednesday, put on the fireworks show Monday from the Firemen's Building on Pike Lake.
This is the first time the annual conference has been held in Warsaw, said Gene Oliver, Warsaw's building commissioner. Oliver also is the district 3 director for the IABO.
The conference also includes the International Conference of Building Officials and the Fire Inspectors' Association of Indiana.
