Indiana-American Water Co. will begin flushing its water distribution system Saturday.
The hydrant flushing will continue through the week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Customers may experience periods of discoloration and pressure fluctuation during the flushing periods. Customers are asked to avoid doing laundry during these times. People with questions should call 800-492-8373.
Saturday's schedule will be from Parker Street to North Harrison Street; the entire hospital area and Husky Trail; north of U.S. 30 from CR 150W to CR 100E; and North Detroit Street south to Canal Street.
Sunday's schedule includes everything east of Argonne Road; Arthur Street and Park Avenue to East Clark Street including Hodges Addition and the 1600 block of East Main Street.
Monday's schedule includes East Clark Street to Winona Lake from North Detroit Street to Argonne Road.
Tuesday's schedule includes from Boggs Addition to Winona Lake; West Market Street to West Prairie Street; and East Smith Street to Winona Lake.
Wednesday's schedule includes South Union Street to CR 200S including the schools and Ranch Road area.
Thursday's schedule will be all of Winona Lake.
The May 1 schedule will be all of Boggs and Phillips additions.
