Huntington University Recognizes Local Dean's List Recipients

HUNTINGTON – Huntington University announced the students that were named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester for the 2010-11 school year.
The Dean’s List is published two times per year at Huntington University. The honor recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the previous semester. Honorees must be classified as regular students, be enrolled full time with a load of 12 hours or more in graded courses, and must achieve a semester grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 point scale.
The following students from the area were recognized: Alisha Bird, Bourbon, a junior nursing major; Katie Sroufe, Claypool, a senior communication studies major; Sydnie Reed, Mentone, a senior elemenatry and special education major; Emily Swartz, Syracuse, a senior youth ministries major; Kindra Wright, Syracuse, a junior nursing major; Johanna Caron, Warsaw, a freshman music education major; Johanna Habegger, Warsaw, a senior elementary education major; Katie Bowers, Silver Lake, a sophomore applied exercise science major; Courtney Watkins, South Whitley, a senior nursing major; Kristen Lahman, North Manchester, a senior elementary education major.
