Gary and Paula Hunter, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly R. Hunter, Warsaw, to Matthew A Townsend, Indianapolis. He is the son of John Townsend, Indianapolis, and Candace Townsend, Warsaw.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in interior design with a minor in art history from Purdue University in May 2008.
The groom-elect is a wellness consultant at Principal Financial Group, Indianapolis. He is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a degree in exercise science with a minor in biology from Manchester College in 2005. He currently attends Indiana Wesleyan University where he is pursing a master's degree in accounting.
