Mark A. and Shawnee L. Hughes were married June 27, 1987, at Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Theron Haines and Peter Albertson officiating.
Mark is employed by Zimmer as a polisher. Shawnee is an operating room nurse and a pre-op facilitator at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
The couple has two children, Derek A. Hughes, Mentone, who is a senior at Ball State University and Patrick L. Hughes, Mentone, who is a senior at Tippecanoe Valley High School.
The couple spent a weekend in Indianapolis and are planning a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. in October.
