ROCHESTER -ÊThe Tippecanoe Valley golf team set a new school record at the Rochester Invitational this weekend. The Vikings placed second with a team score of 311, one stroke better than the record they set last year. Columbus North shot a 297 to place first.

Drew Shafer and Andy Martin led the Vikings with 74s.

Tippecanoe Valley will travel to Wabash Wednesday to play a three-way match with Southwood and Wawasee.

Warsaw's girls tennis team took control of the Northern Lakes Conference by handing Plymouth its first loss of the season. Warsaw, 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the NLC, is the only team without a conference loss. Plymouth fell to 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the NLC.

"Plymouth was our team to beat in the conference," Warsaw coach Joe Beeson said. Warsaw hosts Homestead at 4:30 p.m. today.
