Heartline Pregnancy Center Inc. announced the addition of the BABE Program to its organization.
This move among The Beaman Home, Heartline Pregnancy Center and The BABE Program capitalizes on the similar missions of The BABE Program and Heartline Pregnancy Center.
Formerly operated by The Beaman Home, BABE is a part of Heartline Pregnancy Center effective immediately.
“We at Heartline Pregnancy Center have supported and collaborated with the BABE Program for a number of years. We are excited for BABE to join our organization, as we work together to continue to meet the needs in our community,” said Angela Wood, executive director, Heartline Pregnancy Center. “Our newly combined organization will broaden our outreach to the community through programs that encourage, educate and equip Kosciusko County parents in caring for their children.”
The integration will be completed in two phases. Phase one will carry through the end of 2011. Staffing will remain unchanged, and BABE will remain in its current location at the Health Services Pavilion.
Phase two will begin in January, and more details will be released at that time.
“Heartline Pregnancy Center plans to make some very positive changes, which will benefit not only Heartline clients but the community as a whole,” said Wood.
Heartline Pregnancy Center Inc. was established in 1985 and is a pro-life organization serving the greater Warsaw community. In addition to pregnancy testing, Heartline provides clients with the education needed to support and nurture their children by becoming self-sufficient in the areas of physical, emotional, financial and spiritual health. This is accomplished by empowering clients to cultivate various life skills in a stable, compassionate, life-affirming and Christ-centered environment.
