Optimist Club President Steve Hollar got a pleasant surprise this week after the club enjoyed a presentation from Amber Jackson, executive director of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, and John Kruse, owner of the famous auction. Kruse owns the car used in the movie “Hoosiers,” in which Hollar had a role, and brought it to the Optimist meeting for Hollar to enjoy. He is pictured with the vehicle. Photo provided.
