American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1126 held the annual Veterans Day program Saturday at Center Lake Pavilion.
Kosciusko County Extension Choir started the morning’s program with music, which was followed by the Armed Forces medley. Commander Bruce Knout, John C. Peterson American Legion Post 49, gave the welcome, commander’s remarks and Veterans Day speech.
The program also included an invocation and benediction by The Rev. Roy C. Blake, a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps. Ken Locke and John Sadler presented the Order of Kosciuszko award to Blake.
