WABASH – Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night of music and a dinner when pianist Richard Glazier kicks off the Honeywell Center’s Gourmet Dinner and Chamber Music Series Feb. 14. The performance begins at 6 p.m. in the Honeywell Room with gourmet dining following in Eugenia’s. The three-show series is sponsored by Douglas C. Lehman, P.C., and Minda Lehman. Glazier will perform a new show with movie music and stories about the films, stars and composers Feb. 14. The series continues March 13 with music by Celtica; and April 3 with music by the Ball State University Quartet, I Musici da Camera. A regional band from Nashville, Celtica incorporates a variety of instruments, including hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery, hurdy gurdy, fiddle, keyboards, bagpipes, penny whistles, guitars, vocals and more to perform progressive Celtic music. Along with a mix of songs, the band members share information about the history of the instruments and tunes for a one-of-a-kind experience. I Musici da Camera of Ball State University will perform music of all genres with an emphasis on the music of Italy April 3. The quartet, comprised of music faculty members Joel Braun, double bass; Elizabeth Crawford, clarinet; Lori Rhoden, piano; and Aryn Day Sweeney, oboe; will perform a mix of music from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to Morton Gould. Tickets are $150 for all three shows (includes dinner); $55 for individual show (includes dinner); $25 for individual show (performance only). For tickets, call 260-563-1102 or visit the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
