Honeywell Center's Plaza Music Series Kicks Off In May

WABASH – Mi Tunes 101.9, 105.9 The Bash, Wabash Plain Dealer and Honeywell Center welcome the 2013 Plaza Music Series when it kicks off May 2. The annual series features nine weeks of free musical entertainment on the Honeywell Center plaza from 5 to 7 p.m. each Thursday in May and June. Corporate sponsors for the series include: Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre, Ecowater Systems, Edward Jones Investments, First Merchants Bank, Schlemmer Brothers Metalworks and Stanley Steemer. In addition to the concerts, the Plaza Grille will be on hand during all performances providing grilled food, beverages and desserts. In case of inclement weather, performances will be moved inside to Legacy Hall. Bands playing in the series include: God’s Country, May 2; Sparrow 5, May 9; Daddy O’s, May 16; Prime Time, May 23; Sock Monkeys, May 30; Swampwater Stompers, June 6; Island Vibe, June 13; The Bel Airs; June 20; Harness Family Band, June 27.
